Franchise principle
Build the technology once. Localise it community by community.
A franchisee does not simply buy a brand. The franchisee becomes the local digital economic coordinator for that township or village, operating within an agreed territory.
Franchise packages start at R5 000.

Franchisee responsibilities
Community mobilisation, recruiting service providers, onboarding businesses, identifying temporary workers, registering Rest hosts, local partnerships, marketing, operational matters and franchise standards.
Relationships with municipalities, traditional authorities, business chambers, schools, churches, NGOs, CBOs, youth formations and women's organisations.
Franchisor responsibilities
Technology, brand, AI, national marketing, standards, training, cybersecurity, data governance, payment infrastructure, national partnerships, platform development, monitoring and quality assurance.
This division means no community has to build expensive technology on its own.
Revenue streams per franchise
The central organisation earns through an initial franchise/licensing fee, monthly technology fees and/or an agreed percentage of qualifying platform revenue. Final fee structures follow a franchise feasibility and financial modelling exercise.
The local Digital Hub
A small physical office: business registration, platform support, AI training, digital skills, job and host registration, entrepreneur support and community meetings — so no resident is excluded.
Franchise selection
Community credibility, business capability, local knowledge, financial capacity, governance, commitment to development, digital readiness and ethical conduct.
Quality control
Common minimum standards on verification, service, safety, data protection, pricing, complaints, ratings, fraud and finance. Serious breaches trigger corrective action.
